DELTA -- The Missouri Highway Department will be spreading and oil and aggregate mixture on about five miles of Route P in Cape Girardeau and Scott counties.
The work is scheduled to begin Thursday and completion is expected in a week, weather permitting.

Equipment, flag persons and warning signs will be on the road while the work is in progress.
Drivers should use caution or avoid the route while the work is under way.
