ROUSE WINS AAU STATE TITLE

Jackson's Cody Rouse won his second AAU state wrestling championship in 2001. He also won the state title in 1999 and placed second in 2000, behind the Tulsa national champion and Missouri AAU state champion.

The Jackson USA wrestling team starts the Mo./USA Wrestling Series this month, with the finals being held at the Hearnes Center at the University of Missouri - Columbia, March 23-24.

Rouse goes into the Mo./USA Wrestling Series with a 30-1 record for the 2001 season and hopes to win one more state AAU title.

Rouse has qualified for the Mo./USA finals since age 7 and has a career record of 321-65, with 53 tournament championships. He is the son of Mike Rouse and Dawn Miller.
