ST. LOUIS -- The St. Louis-based Sara Lee Bakery Group is recalling certain pies sold nationwide because they may contain walnuts that are not listed on the label. Some people are allergic to walnuts and consumption of the pies may pose a hazard to them. The company said the pies are safe for anyone else...

ST. LOUIS -- The St. Louis-based Sara Lee Bakery Group is recalling certain pies sold nationwide because they may contain walnuts that are not listed on the label.

Some people are allergic to walnuts and consumption of the pies may pose a hazard to them. The company said the pies are safe for anyone else.

Affected by the recall are 40-ounce frozen pies labeled "Sara Lee Signature Selections Fruits of the Forest Pie." Some cartons may contain a different variety of pie containing walnuts, the company said.

Those recalled have the production code 06032242XX, with the XX representing any number between 00 and 24. The code is embossed on the flap of the package near the tear strip used to open the pie.

Those with questions can call 1 (800) 323-7117 between 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. EST Monday through Friday, except holidays.
