A memorial service in honor of the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Cape Girardeau will be hosted by the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War on Saturday.

The memorial begins at 3 p.m. in Capaha Park and will feature speeches from members about the significance of the battle, prayers and a flag salute.
