Second person injured in Bootheel worksite accident dies

The incident occurred just before 11 a.m. Tuesday at Oakley Incorporated at the Pemiscot County Port Authority. Initially one person died at the scene.

A second person was airlifted to The Med in Memphis, Tenn. A spokesman with the Pemiscot County Sheriff's Department said today the second victim had also died.
As of Thursday morning, the names of the two victims were not released, pending further investigation.
