Sgt. Clifford Heinrich's medal presentation
Alma Schrader Elementary and the Forgotten Fortress Memorial Project presented a living history event honoring the WWII lost crew of the Flying Fortress 812, and the medal presentation to Sgt. Clifford Heinrich in Cape Girardeau. Heinrich was presented with an American Campaign Medal, WWII Victory Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, a WWII Lapel Button, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal and the Purple Heart for his service during WWII during Monday's presentation.
