Southeast Missouri house fire kills two
NEW MADRID, Mo. -- Two people were killed in a fire early Tuesday morning.
At 6:11 a.m. a driver on Route U, one mile west of U.S. 61, noticed a house on fire.Standard Democrat

Fire departments from New Madrid, Catron, Portageville and Lilbourn, Mo., responded to the scene and were informed of victims inside the home.
The names of the victims are being withheld pending the notification of relatives.
Authorities at the scene said the cause of the blaze was as yet undetermined.
