"Discover your power to perform" is the theme of the First Annual Sports Performance Clinic to be held Saturday at the University Recreation Center located behind the Show Me Center. This clinic is designed for junior high and middle school students, their parents and coaches to provide information on how important it is to consistently perform good stretching techniques, to deliver healthy eating habits, and to understand the importance of teamwork and good sportsmanship...

This clinic is designed for junior high and middle school students, their parents and coaches to provide information on how important it is to consistently perform good stretching techniques, to deliver healthy eating habits, and to understand the importance of teamwork and good sportsmanship.

Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the clinic will be from 9 until 11:45 a.m. Contact Gary Salter at St. francis for more information and registration forms.

It is sponsored by St. Francis Medical Center, six Optimist Clubs in Cape Girardeau and Jackson, SEMO University's Student Rec Center students and faculty from the Departments of Marketing, Health & Lesure, Athletics & Mass Communications.
