JACKSON -- A Sunday afternoon edition of St. Francis Medical Center's "Women of the '90s" series will spotlight the keys to a lifelong successful marriage.
The meeting will be held Feb. 9 at 2 p.m. at the St. Francis Information Center in Jackson.
Shelba Branscum, associate professor in the department of human environmental studies at Southeast Missouri State University, will be guest speaker.
She will discuss selecting and nurturing a spouse and will explain that good "shopping" and proper "maintenance" of a spouse are the major reasons why certain marriages are successful.
The program is intended for women of all ages who are either married or considering marriage. The presentation is free, but pre-registration is requested by calling 243-5222.
