The summer session of the Friendship Bible Coffees will begin June 16 at Cape County Park South, Shelter No. 21.

The groups will meet from 9-10 a.m. on Wednesdays. The series is sponsored by the Cape County Christian Women's Clubs and are part of Stonecroft Ministries.

The Bible studies are designed for all denominations and are informal discussions of two to 12 people. The classes last five to seven weeks.

Topics for the summer session are:

-- "Know the truth," a study of the first eight chapters of Romans. It will be led by Mary Ann DePreder and runs five weeks.

-- A study on the book of James will look at changing attitudes and behavior. It will be led by Jane Kopenaal and runs seven weeks.

-- "Communication," is a six-week study that builds on truths taught in Christian homes. Ruth Ann Ford is the leader.

-- "Living my new life" is a study designed to encourage Christians to pursue consistent, meaningful lives. It is a seven-week course led by Pat Renner.

-- "Examine the evidence," is a teen-age level study led by Sara Bohnert.

Nursery care is provided at Cape Bible Chapel, but reservations are needed. Call Jo Payne at 243-5206 for details.

Other studies for couples and singles will be held in both Cape Girardeau and Jackson each Tuesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

"Know the truth" will be held in Cape Girardeau, and a study on the book of Luke will be held in Jackson.
