Crowin D. King is suspected of shooting a young woman to death last weekend in Kennett, Missouri.

King, 36, of Homesville, Missouri, has a history of arrests. In 2013, he was charged with first degree robbery in St. Joseph, Missouri. He was again arrested in 2014, this time for an unknown offense.

Caroletta K. Hamilton was found dead in her Kennett home over the weekend. According to a news release from the Kennett Police Department, the 24-year-old woman, originally from Caruthersville, Missouri, was the victim of a homicide.

Police discovered the scene while conducting a wellness check at the residence, which is in the 900 block of Floyd Courts.

Hamilton's family had contacted police because she had not been heard from in several days.
