Three suspects face charges of stealing and second-degree burglary after their weekend arrests.
According to Cape Girardeau Police Department spokesman Darin Hickey, officers were dispatched to the 1900 block of Briarwood Drive about 5 p.m. Sunday after receiving a report of suspicious activity at a home. When the officers arrived, witnesses confirmed the suspicious activity and gave a description of a man and two women who had by then fled the scene.
Officers canvassed the immediate area and located the three suspects who matched the description given to them by the witnesses, Hickey said.
The suspects in custody are Ombreis D. Watson, 18, Melvine C. Stuckey, 18, and Aaliyah B. Curry, 17, all of Cape Girardeau.
They were each being held late Wednesday on a $6,000 bond in the Cape Girardeau County Jail.
