Christian Brockert, the spokesman, confirmed a newspaper report that German intelligence had received a tip regarding terror groups on the move, but he said they were still working to confirm it in with other intelligence services and there was no immediate danger. He said border authorities had been alerted but no "warning" was been issued.

Bild newspaper reported that Germany's intelligence agency has issued a warning that the suspected terrorists carrying fake Pakistani passports are moving from Afghanistan through Bahrain in five groups to Germany, Britain, France and the separatist Russian republic of Chechyna. Bild, which did not cite sources, did not report anything about planned attacks.
