Cape Girardeau firefighters extricated two people from a vehicle that rolled over Monday on Kingshighway after the driver made a left turn from Broadway. An earlier rain causing a slick street may have been a factor in the driver losing control, according to Cape Girardeau police. A video is available at semissourian.com.

The two female occupants of the Chevrolet Blazer didn't report any serious injuries, but required extrication from the vehicle, Selzer said.

The vehicle appeared to have accidently crossed the center line, and the driver may have overcompensated, upsetting the Blazer, Selzer said.
