PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Two Perryville residents are in custody after police seized just over a pound of marijuana at their residence, authorities said.
The Perry County Sheriff's Department, SEMO Drug Task Force and members of the Perryville Police Department executed a search warrant Wednesday at 1501 Alma Drive, Apt. E-1, the residence of Denice M. Wood, 40, and Jason A. Brda, 47.
According to Perry County Sheriff Gary J. Schaaf, some of the marijuana was packaged and ready to sell.
Wood is charged with possession of controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana for having hydrocodone pills. She is being held on $10,000 cash or surety bond. Brda is charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. He is being held on $25,000 cash or surety bond.
