People gathered to make bed rolls during an Ugly Quilt Weekend event Saturday, Oct. 26, 2019, at St. Vincent de Paul Parish's De Paul Center in Cape Girardeau. Kathy Berkbigler, volunteer coordinator for the Ugly Quilt program, said event participants were making bed rolls for the homeless. “They can crawl into it and stay warm,” she said.
