Bernard Letassy of Poplar Bluff melts the wax off of his dyed egg Tuesday, March 19, 2013 during the Wonderful World of Pysanky workshop at Southeast Missouri State University's River Campus. In Pysanky, Ukrainian egg art, each color and design is symbolic.  The evergreen on Letassy's egg is a symbol of strength and boldness and the green is a symbol of hope. Instructor Barb Duncan has teaching people of all ages the art of Pysanky for 16 years.
