Willie Nelson will play the Show Me Center March 15. Nelson last played the Show Me Center in 2005, when then-entertainment editor Matt Sanders called him a "champion still in his prime." The country music legend will play Poplar Bluff, Mo., March 13 and then head up the road for a Cape Girardeau concert...

Willie Nelson will play the Show Me Center on March 15.

The last time Nelson played the Show Me Center in 2005, his appearance drew a diverse and enthusiastic crowd into the arena.

Presale tickets for the country music legend will be available Thursday online at showmecenter.biz with the ticket code STRANGER and at the Show Me Center box office from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and online only Friday with the code. Regular ticket sales will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Tickets will be $37.50, $47.50 and $67.50. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. March 15; doors open at 6:30.

No opening act is scheduled to play. According to Shannon Buford, the Show Me Center marketing director, Nelson fans will enjoy the show, "no fluff, just the man, myth, legend."
