This year's service is based on the parable of the Prodigal Son found in Luke 15 and tells the stories of Ghanaian refugees in their struggles to maintain their traditional extended families in the midst of national and community upheaval. "The Earth Is a House for All People" will include prayer, songs and an offering to help support Church Women United's national and international programs.

Women from six churches in the Jackson area will take part in the program. All area women are encouraged to attend. A reception will follow the program. Childcare for preschool children will be provided.
