JACKSON -- Aaron Wilke, 82, of Jackson, died Sunday, Jan. 2, 1994, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Sept. 29, 1911, in Kurreville, son of Lewis and Bertie Crites Wilke. He and Thelma Fulbright were married April 14, 1931.

Wilke moved to Jackson in 1957 from a farm in Kurreville. He had worked at the former Jackson Handle Factory, and the former Raines and Macke Stave Mills. He was a member of New McKendree United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Gene Wilke of Sedgewickville, Dean Wilke of Millersville; a daughter, Pat Bollinger of Marble Hill; a brother, Ola Wilke of Jackson; five grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at McCombs Funeral Chapel. The Revs. Otto Steinhaus and David Griffin will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
