LEOPOLD -- Funeral mass for Albert W. Nenninger of Leopold was held Saturday at St. John's Catholic Church. The Rev. Michael Casteel officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery, with graveside service by VFW Post 5900.

Liley Funeral Home of Marble Hill was in charge of arrangements.

Nenninger, 82, died Wednesday, Aug. 28, 1991, at St. Francis Medical Center.

He was born March 24, 1909, in St. Louis, son of John and Louise Richt Nenninger. He and Catherine Roling were married Sept. 4, 1947.

Nenninger was a retired electrician with Baltimore and OHio Railroad. He was a member of St. John's Church, Marble Hill VFW Post 5900, Moose Lodge 3 in Chicago, and was a 4th Degree Knight with St. Isidore Council 5898.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, JOhn Nenninger of Festus, William Nenninger of Huntsville, Ala.; two daughters, Ann Anderson of Gurley, Ala., Louise Brewer of Fredericktown; a sister, Louise Goewert of Manchester, and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.
