PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Albert O. Werner Sr., 84, formerly of Tilsit, Mo., died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2000, at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center in Fort Pierce, Fla.
He was born Dec. 30, 1915, at Tilsit, son of Otto F. and Frieda Siebert Werner. He first married Mabel R. Madison Keefer. He later married Elizabeth Ann Mitten Sept. 10, 1969.
Werner was a member of the engineering staff and maintenance supervisor with General Motors Tech Center, retiring after 26 years of service.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church Board of Elders, finance committee, was a trustee, and an usher.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Richard Werner of Moreno Valley, Calif., Albert Werner of Torrance, Calif.; a daughter, Norma Jean Mueller of Frohna, Mo.; three half brothers, Otto Werner Jr. of Edwardsville, Ill., Ervin and Wilfred Werner of Jackson, Mo.; a half sister, Elvera Engert of Oak Ridge, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, two brothers, a sister, stepmother, and a stepbrother.
Memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna. The Rev. Wayne Palmer will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the church Sunday from 12:30 p.m. until service time.
