Alberta M. "Bertie" Seyer, 59, 1911 Weissinger, died Monday, June 17, 1991, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born Feb. 14, 1932, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Melvin and Lucille Thompson Proffer. She married Vincent Seyer May 5, 1951, in Cape Girardeau.

Seyer was a member of St. Vincent's Church and FISH, was involved in Marriage Encounter here, and was active in the Cancer Support Group at Southeast Hospital.

Survivors include her husband; a son, David Seyer of Phoenix, Ariz.; two daughters, Connie Heuschober of Cape Girardeau, Kathy Cotter of Bonne Terre; her mother of Chaffee; a sister, Clara Snover of St. Louis; three grandchildren, Chad, Gail and Jill Heuschober of Cape Girardeau.

A memorial mass will be held at 7 tonight at St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. Robert Braun officiating.

Friends may visit with the family at the church from 5-6:45 p.m.
