Alma L. Masters, 93, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Feb. 1, 2007, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born Dec. 24, 1913, in Egypt Mills, daughter of H.C. and Nora Mae Miller Corse. She and Maple Masters were married June 30, 1934. He died Nov. 5, 1996...

Alma L. Masters, 93, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Feb. 1, 2007, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Dec. 24, 1913, in Egypt Mills, daughter of H.C. and Nora Mae Miller Corse. She and Maple Masters were married June 30, 1934. He died Nov. 5, 1996.

Masters was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church and a volunteer with Saint Francis Medical Center Auxiliary.

Survivors include three sons, Lowell Masters of Fruitland, Larry Masters of Egypt Mills, Newell Masters of Maynard, Ark.; two daughters, Wanda Brown of Cape Girardeau, Judy Dunn of Marble Hill, Mo.; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and a grandson.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to service time Saturday at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.

The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with Bryan D. McAlister and Karen Mustoe officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
