Andrew Joseph Gracyus, 63, of Oak Ridge passed away Saturday, June 18, 2016, at his home.
He was born Oct. 25, 1952, in Chicago, son of Joseph and Mary Skodon Gracyus.
He and Betty Bowen were married Oct. 31, 1970, in Chicago.
Andrew was a Teamster employed as a dock worker in Chicago.
He also volunteered for the Worth, Illinois, fire department. He loved nature and enjoyed being out in the woods, building trails on his property near Oak Ridge.
Loving survivors include his wife, Betty Gracyus, and two daughters, Betty Wendy Gracyus and Candy Jo Gracyus, both of Oak Ridge.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
A memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson, with the Rev. John Harth officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
