ARTHUR ELMER JACKSON SR.

JACKSON -- Arthur Elmer Jackson Sr., 88, of Jackson, formerly of Charleston, died Friday, Nov. 8, 1991, at the Deal Nursing Home in Jackson.

He was born Nov. 7, 1903, in Mississippi County, son of George W. and Lizzie Fox Jackson.

He had lived in Mississippi County most of his life and was employed with Simpson Oil Company until his retirement.

In 1922, he married Francis Izola Bryan. She died in October, 1949. He then married Juanita Graham in 1950. She died in 1984.

Survivors are one son, Arthur E. "Buddy" Jackson of Cape Girardeau, three grandsons, one granddaughter and nine great grand-children.

One son and two sisters preceded him in death.

Funeral service was held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the McMikle Funeral Chapel. Burial followed in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
