Arthur Harrison

PARIS, Tenn. -- Arthur William Harrison Jr., 86, of Paris died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris.

Arthur was born March 9, 1931, in Cape Girardeau to the late Arthur William Harrison and the late Marie Patton Harrison.

He retired as a contractor after many years in construction. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, where he served as a pilot. He enjoyed flying, reading and music.

He is survived by two daughters, Katheryn "Kit" (Rex) Rentrop and Ann (Bobby) Leatherman, both of Memphis, Tennessee; a son, John Harrison of Washington, D.C.; and six grandchildren.

The body is to be cremated. A celebration of life will be held at a later date at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Memphis.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St. in Paris.
