Audry Ernest Eldridge, 77, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, April 28, 2013, at Parc Provence in Creve Coeur, Mo.

He was born Oct. 18, 1935, in Pomp, Ky., to Lynn Boyd and Virgie Keeton Eldridge. He and Wanda R. Harrell were married Aug. 31, 1957, in Emporia, Kan.

Audry graduated with a bachelor of science in accounting from Washburn University in Topeka, Kan.

He was owner/operator of Midwest Sterilization Corp. in Jackson and in Laredo, Texas. He was a member of Jackson Chamber of Commerce, and longtime treasurer of EOSA, a national trade organization of which he was instrumental in starting.

Audry served in the National Guard.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda R. Eldridge of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Janet E. Daniels (Mike) of Alexandria, Va., and Karen E. Stucker (Dale E.) of Cape Girardeau; four brothers, Gene Eldridge of Kansas City, Mo., Jack and Harold Eldridge of Topeka and Roy Eldridge of New Mexico; five sisters, Evelyn "Sally" Anderson, June Martz, Marjorie Joan Wright, Mary Jane "Janie" Steers and Juanita Sue Hughes, all of Topeka; two grandchildren, Logan E. and Brody E. Stucker.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to service time Thursday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at noon Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating.
