PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Barbara A. Wibbenmeyer, 47, of Lees Summit, Mo., formerly of Perryville, died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2002, at Montclair Residential Care in Perryville.

She was born Dec. 5, 1954, in El Paso, Texas, daughter of Henry "Sonny" and Yvonne Manche Romann Jr. She married Norman Wibbenmeyer.

Wibbenmeyer was an account representative. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, VFW Auxiliary and active with the auxiliary's Junior Girls, all in Lees Summit, and was active in the American Cancer Society Relay for Life.

Survivors include two sons, Joe and Andy Wibbenmeyer of Gatesville, Texas; her parents of Perryville; a brother, Craig Romann of Perryville; two sisters, Joyce Helmers and Lynne Brewer of Perryville; and paternal grandmother, Stephanie Romann of Perryville.

She was preceded in death by paternal grandfather and maternal grandparents.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. today, and Friday from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m.

A memorial mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Kevin Fausz will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
