ANNA, Ill. -- Betty June Boswell, 77, of Anna died Friday, April 26, 2002 at her home in Anna.
She was born Dec. 21, 1924, at West Frankfort, Ill., daughter of Ralph and Cressie Webb Woodard. She and Merle M. Boswell were married Dec. 5, 1941, at Jackson, Mo.
Boswell was a member of the First Baptist Church in Anna and was founder and co-owner of the former Dutzy Burger in Anna.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Dixie Baggott and Merlene Barker Johnson, both of Anna; a son, the Rev. Richard Boswell of Chico, Calif.; a sister, Reba Burbank of Marion, Ill.; a brother, George Woodard of DeWitt, Mich.; six grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and four stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
