BERTRAND -- Betty Ann Brewer, 51, of Bertrand died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2000, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born Jan. 4, 1949, in Henson, daughter of Elsie McGill Betts. She married Walter Brewer Jr. July 10, 1966.
Brewer was a member of St. Matthew's Baptist Church where she was church secretary, a member of the usher board, and was in charge of the food pantry.
Survivors include her husband; her mother of Charleston; three daughters, Janice Atkinson of St. Louis, Amanda Brewer and Diedre Ward of Cape Girardeau; three brothers, Ronnie Gordon of Topeka, Kan., Floyd McGill of Indiana, Luther Betts of Charleston; four sisters, Altheria Betts of Bloomington, Ill., Cynthia Moore, Justine Campbell and Maxine Betts, all of Kansas City; and four grandchildren.
A daughter preceded her in death.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Matthew's Church, with the Rev. James E. Ratliff officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery at Charleston.
Friends may call at the church from 1 p.m. until time of service.
