Betty May Ford, 89, of Cape Girardeau passed away Monday, March 2, 2020, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born Sept. 14, 1930, in St. Louis, daughter of Lender W. and Thelma Greenlee Stovall.
Betty was a resident of the Lutheran Home for several years and was formerly of Oak Ridge. She was also an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan.
Loving survivors include a son, Lenny (Jeanne) Seiler of Friedheim; daughter, Jo Ann Dallas of Texas; grandchildren, Matt (Danielle) Seiler, Shelly (Robert) Schamburg, Joey Dallas, Kimberly (Martin) Huffman, Tony (Sherry) Brethold, Angel (David) Engelen, Bonnie (Kody) Seiler, Gloria (Tim) Pender, Alex (Kelli) Seiler, Ashley Seiler and Allyson (Chris) Sessions; 33 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are a brother, Earl Stovall of Cape Girardeau, and sisters, Della McLain of Jackson and Mary Ann (the Rev. J.D.) Smith of Advance, Missouri.
Betty was preceded in death by her husbands, Leonard Seiler and Carl Ford; children, Rick, Benny and Mary Dell Seiler and Carol Riley; grandchildren, Lisa and Mike Seiler; brothers, Jerry and Glenn Stovall; and sister, Donna Kay Eakins.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. J.D. Smith and Joy Shirrell officiating. Interment will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
