Bettye Anne Griffor, 50, 3002 Melrose, died Sunday, March 3, 1996, at her home. She was born Sept. 15, 1945, in Columbia, Tenn., daughter of Thomas U. and Etta Kimes Fox. She and Kenneth L. Griffor were married Oct. 8, 1963, at Creve Coeur. Griffor taught homecrafts and ceramics. She was active in and had been head scout mother of Boy Scout Troop 5. Bettye Anne Griffor, 50, 3002 Melrose, died Sunday, March 3, 1996, at her home.

She was born Sept. 15, 1945, in Columbia, Tenn., daughter of Thomas U. and Etta Kimes Fox. She and Kenneth L. Griffor were married Oct. 8, 1963, at Creve Coeur.

Griffor taught homecrafts and ceramics. She was active in and had been head scout mother of Boy Scout Troop 5. She was a member of La Croix United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, Kenneth Griffor Jr. of Virginia Beach, Va., 1st Sgt. Karl Griffor of Tucson, Ariz., Keith Griffor of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Debbie Brown of Cape Girardeau, and four grandchildren.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Ron Watts officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
