PERRYVILLE -- Beulah E. "Bea" Wibbenmeyer, 87, died Wednesday, April 29, 1998, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
She was born July 22, 1910, in St. Louis, daughter of Leon and Mary Ann Mattingly Chappius. She and Stanislaus G. "Stonie" Wibbenmeyer were married Feb. 20, 1928, in Perryville. He died March 4, 1975.
Wibbenmeyer was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church and Daughters of Isabella.
Survivors include six daughters, Myra Gremaud of Perryville, Barbara Ernst of Creve Coeur, Carol Wibbenmeyer of Ste. Genevieve, Mary Ochs of St. Ann, Alice Wichern of O'Fallon, Debbie Hoffman of St. Charles; a son, Don Wibbenmeyer of Perryville; 44 grandchildren; and 65 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son.
Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and Friday from 6:30-9:50 a.m. A parish wake will be held at 7 tonight, and the rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Friday.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent's Church, with the Revs. Kevin Fausz and Jeff Ernst officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
