Willett Frayser "Bill" Calvert, 75, 1632 Scivally, died Monday, March 10, 1997, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born Oct. 15, 1921, in Evansville, Ind., son of Willett H. and Mary Elizabeth Frayser Calvert. He and Beatrice Mae Queen were married Nov. 14, 1943, in Varnville, S.C.
Calvert was employed by Amoco Oil Co. 35 years. He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, and former member of Downtown Rotary Club. He served four years in the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Bill Calvert Jr. of Mission Viejo, Calif., Col. John Calvert of the Azores, Don Calvert of Louisville, Ky.; and four grandchildren.
There is no visitation.
Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Park, with the Rev. Miles White officiating.
Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
