MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Bob C. Hanners, age 65, of Marble Hill passed away Saturday, June 2, 2007, at his residence.
He was born June 4, 1941, at Bessville, Mo., son of John Henry and Ruby Eva Cook Hanners. He and Audrey James were united in marriage on Dec. 24, 1960, near Lutesville.
Mr. Hanners was a self employed logger and attended Hurricane Fork General Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Audrey, of Marble Hill; three sons, Scott (Tammy) Hanners, Buck (Glenda) Hanners and Terry (Cindy) Hanners, all of Marble Hill; two daughters, Kim (Mike) Moyers and Lisa (Punk) Cook, both of Marble Hill; two brothers, Frank (Joan) Hanners of Marble Hill and Jim (Bert) Hanners of Cape Girardeau; nine grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; one great-grandson; one great-grandchild which is expected soon; and one great-stepgrandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Gracie Mae.
Visitation will be after 3 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill and after 9 a.m. on Tuesday at Hurricane Fork General Baptist Church.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2007, at Hurricane Fork General Baptist Church with the Revs. Steve Sander and Andy Sander officiating.
Burial will follow in Hurricane Fork Cemetery near Marble Hill.
