SIKESTON, Mo. -- Bobby Dean Ables, 73, of Sikeston died Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2002, at the home of a daughter in Memphis, Tenn. She was born April 25, 1929, in St. Louis, daughter of George and Mary Bell Woolford. She and Clennis Ables were married Sept. 23, 1945. He died Dec. 23, 1966...

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Bobby Dean Ables, 73, of Sikeston died Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2002, at the home of a daughter in Memphis, Tenn.

She was born April 25, 1929, in St. Louis, daughter of George and Mary Bell Woolford. She and Clennis Ables were married Sept. 23, 1945. He died Dec. 23, 1966.

Ables was a licensed practical nurse 21 years at Missouri Delta Medical Center. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Neil Ables of Sikeston; three daughters, Andrea Lim of Santa Ana, Calif., Cindy Ables of Sikeston, Leslie Brown of Memphis; two brothers, William Woolford of Grant's Pass, Ore., Jerry Woolford of Pevely, Mo.; a sister, Frances Gierer of St. Charles, Mo.; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Rev. Tom Geers officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
