Robert J. Baugh, 60, of Jackson passed away Thursday, May 21, 2015, surrounded by his loving family at his home.

He was born Aug. 7, 1954, in Cape Girardeau to Robert and June Martin Baugh. He and Carole Ladreiter were married Oct. 15, 1977, at New McKendree United Methodist Church.

Bob was a 1972 graduate of Jackson High School and attended Southeast Missouri State University. His employment included the former Spirit Shop in Jackson; the former Disc Jockey and Stereo One in Cape Girardeau; and Pocahontas Lumber Co. in Jackson since March 1996.

He was a member of New McKendree Church. He previously served several years as a scout leader of Troop 311 in Jackson and was a Vigil Honor Member of Order of the Arrow. He enjoyed gardening and cooking and was an avid trout fisherman.

Loving survivors include his wife of 37 years, Carole of Jackson; two children, Gabe (Alicia) Baugh and their son, Jack, and Maggie (Geoff) Enders, all of Jackson; his mother, June Black of Jackson; two brothers, Stephen (Theresa) Baugh of Jackson and Clyde (Cheryl) Baugh of St. Louis; several nieces and nephews; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Rodney and Nancy Ladreiter of Jackson.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Baugh, in 1985, and a sister, Patricia Baugh, in 2013.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the chapel of McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

A memorial service will be at noon Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jimmie Corbin officiating.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to The Jason Motte Foundation, P.O. Box 241520, Memphis, TN 38124; Boy Scout Troop 311 in Jackson; or the American Cancer Society.
