Bobby Lee Loos, 90, of Jackson died Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at his home.
He was born Oct. 19, 1929, in Jackson to Robert Jacob and Flossie Myrtle Young Loos. He and Evelyn Mae Stevens were married Dec. 18, 1954, at the Methodist parsonage in Jackson. She preceded him in death March 30, 2014.
Bobby was a graduate of Jackson High School in 1948.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1951 to 1953. He was honorably discharged as a sergeant.
He worked at Ceramo Pottery in Jackson from 1948 to 2001.
Bobby was a member of First Baptist Church in Jackson, where he was an usher and deacon. He also taught Sunday school at Jackson Manor Nursing Home and was involved in Cape Girardeau County Jail Ministry.
Survivors include his son, Robert Gene Loos of Jackson; sister, Betty (Roger) McClanahan of Jackson; and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Funeral Home in Jackson.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Randy Riley officiating. Burial will be at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
Memorial contributions may be given to First Baptist Church in Jackson.
