SIKESTON, Mo. -- Langdon Bond Perry, 96, of Sikeston died Sunday, March 20, 2005, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau. He was born Nov. 24, 1908, at Hornersville, Mo., son of Walter Astor and Maude Mae Finch Perry. He and Ida Belle Phegley were married May 12, 1941. She died Aug. 11, 1990...

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Langdon Bond Perry, 96, of Sikeston died Sunday, March 20, 2005, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Nov. 24, 1908, at Hornersville, Mo., son of Walter Astor and Maude Mae Finch Perry. He and Ida Belle Phegley were married May 12, 1941. She died Aug. 11, 1990.

Perry farmed many years in the Vanduser, Mo., area. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Sikeston.

Survivors include a son, L.B. Perry of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Patricia Sullivan of Cave Creek, Ariz.; a sister, Jean Lyle of Versailles, Mo.; a brother, Howard Perry of Wyoming, Mich.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, a stepdaughter, four brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Dr. Rick Ramsey officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens near Morley, Mo.
