CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Bonnie Mae Horman, 83, of Chaffee died Monday, July 26, 2010, at her home.

She was born May 22, 1927, at Brixey, Mo., daughter of Orville Anderson and Helen Zelma Bushong Naugle. She and George Dewey Horman were married Nov. 1, 1945. He died March 1, 2003.

Bonnie retired as a utility worker at Thorngate Ltd. in Chaffee. She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, past president of Country C.B. Club of Chaffee, life member of Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary, and member of Chaffee American Legion Auxiliary Post 389.

Survivors include five sons, Ray (Nancy) Horman of Puyallup, Wash., Jerry (Jerrie) Horman of Marengo, Ill., Delmer (Betty) Horman of Cape Girardeau, Delbert (Susan) Horman of Osage Beach, Mo., Dennis (Tim Tanz) Horman of St. Louis; two daughters, Christine Jones and Ellen (Joe) Piper of Chaffee; three brothers, Aubie Naugle of Ava, Mo., Thomas Naugle of Edenton, N.C., Joseph Naugle of Broken Arrow, Okla.; 14 grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; eight great-stepgrandchildren; and four great-great-stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, two sisters, two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Thursday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Parish prayers will be at 7.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Ralph Duffner officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Crown Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
