Brenda Lynn Berryhill, 74, of Cape Girardeau, formerly of Mounds, Illinois, passed away at 1:26 a.m. Monday, Jan. 16, 2017, at Life Care Center of Cape Girardeau.

Brenda was born July 4, 1942, in Cairo, Illinois, daughter of Leonard Clifford and Ruth (Hawkins) Clifford.

Brenda was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral in Cape Girardeau, and she was a housewife and homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her father, Leonard Clifford, and her husband, Gerald Wayne Berryhill, on Aug, 27, 2005.

Survivors include her mother, Ruth Clifford Billingsley of Cape Girardeau; her son, Jeff Berryhill of Evansville, Indiana; former daughter-in-law, Peggy Berryhill of Cape Girardeau; brother, Steve (Terri) Clifford of Villa Ridge, Illinois; two granddaughters, Lisa Berryhill and Amy (Billy) Dinkins; great-grandson, Hudson Dinkins; cousins, Kathy (Bill) Walsh of Cape Girardeau and Larry (Sherry) Kester of Romney, West Virginia; and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Mounds, Illinois, with the Rev. Joseph Kelly officiating. Interment will follow.

Friends and family are asked to meet at the cemetery prior to service time.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorials to the Special Olympics of Missouri, 1625 N. Kingshighway, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701, or to Notre Dame High School King Hall, 265 Notre Dame Drive, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701, in memory of Brenda Lynn Berryhill.
