Brenda Bowman

Brenda Kay Bowman, 71, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, June 3, 2024, at her home.

She was born April 10, 1953, in Cape Girardeau to Elba M. and Daisy Victoria Dorsey Wilkinson. She and Rick Bowman were married May 19, 1979, in Cape Girardeau.

She had a long banking career, retiring from Banterra Bank.

She was a member of First General Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include her husband, Rick Bowman of Cape Girardeau; brothers-in-law, Rodney Bowman and Keith Bowman; sister-in-law, Becky Driskell; and lots of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She also loved her dog, Baby.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters, three brothers and a brother-in-law.

The family will have a private committal service at Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum in Cape Girardeau.
