MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Bruce Edward Binnie, 58, of Marble Hill died Monday, Sept. 30, 2002, the result of a farming accident near Glenallen, Mo. MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Bruce Edward Binnie, 58, of Marble Hill died Monday, Sept. 30, 2002, the result of a farming accident near Glenallen, Mo.

He was born Oct. 1, 1943, in Buffalo, N.Y., son of Harold E. and Doris W. Younglove Binnie. He and Susan Marie Last were married Aug. 28, 1964, in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Loving survivors include his wife; three sons, Thomas E. Binnie (Joan) of Marble Hill, Air Force Staff Sgt. Scott A. Binnie (Pam) stationed in Japan, David S. Binnie of Mesa, Ariz.; four granddaughters, Samantha, Cheyenne, Morgan and Sierra Binnie; two grandsons, Justus and Cooper Binnie; his mother, Doris Binnie of Marble Hill; two sisters, Beverly "Bunny" Guild of Rochester, N.Y., Judy Ethridge of Conyers, Ga.; two brothers, Duane Binnie of Safford, Ariz., and David Younglove of Kentucky.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Thomas Binnie.

Mr. Binnie moved to Marble Hill in 1996 from Mesa. He was a member of Marble Hill Optimist Club and involved in the club's horse show events. He attended Marble Hill United Methodist Church and participated in the Men's Club.

Throughout his life he regularly helped and encouraged many people. Bruce was a dedicated and loving husband, father, and papa. He loved the Missouri outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing and his horses.

He was employed as a farm manager by MTX Inc. of Marble Hill.

Friends may call at Hutchings Funeral Chapel from 5 to 8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Marble Hill United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Michael Kelpe officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Optimist Club of Marble Hill.
