ALTO PASS, Ill. -- Carl Ross Mileur, 64, of Grantsburg died Tuesday, April 14, 1998, at his home.

He was born March 2, 1934, in Murphysboro, son of Harmon and Jessie Boucher Mileur. He and Virginia Hawk were married Sept. 5, 1953, at Murphysboro.

Mileur served 20 years in the U.S. Air Force, and later was transportation shop foreman with a school district in California.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Rusty Mileur of Atwater, Calif., Gary Mileur of Crystal, Minn.; eight grandchildren, including Shannon Mileur who was raised in the home; brothers and sisters.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter and a brother.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Alto Pass from 6-8 p.m. today.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Alto Pass Cemetery, with the Rev. Davy Miller officiating.
