Carol Diane Mouser, 77, of Jackson died Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at her home.
She was born March 14, 1943, in Cape Girardeau to Lloyd Martin and Kathleen Vernell Jones Nickless. She married Jerry Andrew Mouser on Jan. 12, 1963, in Cape Girardeau.
She was a caregiver for many years and previously was a bank teller.
She enjoyed dancing, listening to music, sitting by the river watching riverboats and going for rides.
She loved to spend time with her family.
Survivors include her sons, Jerry "Andy" Mouser Jr. of Jackson and Scott Alan (LeAnn Craft) Mouser of Marble Hill, Missouri; sisters, Nancy Rose of Jackson and Cindy (Don) Farrow of Cape Girardeau; grandchildren, Kyle (Sarah) Mouser, Jacob (Kayla) Mouser, Adam Mouser, Olivia (Michael) Arnold and Jessica (David) Huffman; and great-grandchildren, Alice Mouser, Parker Mouser, Robbie Mouser and Preston Arnold.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Sharon Ferder.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating. Burial will be at Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
