CAROLYN NIMMO

Funeral for Carolyn Nimmo of Cape Girardeau will be held at 1 p.m. today at Crain Funeral Home in Anna, Ill. The Rev. Don Stephens will officiate. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery at Dongola.

Nimmo, 52, died Thursday, March 18, 1999, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born Dec. 27, 1946, in Herrin, Ill., daughter of William and Ruby Wynn Smith. She and Ralph Nimmo were married in September 1972.

Nimmo had been a housekeeper and dietitian at area hospitals and nursing homes, and operated a day care in Anna several years. She was a member of Red Star Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband; a sister, Meta Voigt of Memphis, Tenn.; two brothers, Donald Smith of Joliet, Ill., and Wayne Smith of Benton, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
