CHAFFEE -- Catherine "Kate" Scheeter, 91, of Chaffee died Friday, Aug. 18, 1995, at the Perry Oakes Health Care Inc. in Perryville.

She was born July 23, 1904, near Chaffee, daughter of John Frank and Bertha Amrhein Scheeter.

She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church of Chaffee, and Daughters of St. Ambrose.

She is survived by two sisters, Juanita Capshaw of Chaffee and Viola Duren of Springfield, and several nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Parish prayers will be held at 7 p.m. today.

Service will be Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee, with the Rev. Allan Saunders officiation. Burial will be in St. Ambrose Catholic Cemetery at Chaffee.
