CATHERINE VOELKER

JACKSON -- Catherine Marjorie Voelker, 76, of Jackson died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2000, at Jackson Manor.

She was born on Jan. 12, 1924, at Millersville, daughter of Avery Washington and Ariminta Proctor Dellinger.

She and Edgar Voelker were married on Sept. 29, 1947. He died in 1981.

She had worked as a seamstress at Ralph Edwards Clothing. She was a member of Red Star Baptist Church and was a former member of Eastern Star and VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors include a son, Jerry Voelker of St. Louis; two brothers, Avery W. Dellinger of Oak Ridge and Lawrence William Dellinger of Defuniak Springs, Fla.; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel.

Funeral will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the chapel, with the Rev. Jim Matthews officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery.
