SIKESTON -- Funeral service for Cecil Elmo Crawford Jr. of Sikeston will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at the chapel from 10 a.m. to service time.
Crawford, 57, died Monday, Aug. 11, 1997, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
He was born Aug. 1, 1940, at Sikeston, son of Cecil E. and Mary Lillian Westmoland Crawford Sr. He and Mildred Lorene Smith were married May 17, 1967, in Sikeston.
Crawford was a lifelong resident of Sikeston. He was a farm laborer.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Joseph, Christopher and Mitchell Crawford, all of the home; his father of Sikeston; a brother, Melvin Crawford of Kokomo, Ind.; six sisters, Shirley McClure of Clinton, Ark., Shelby Negri of Glenwood, Ill., Mary Goggins of St. Charles, Gladie Burton, Joyce Staggs and Linda Post, all of Kokomo.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
